What is the Southern Girl Finishing School?
This isn’t your grandmother’s finishing school where you learn how to walk with books on your head.
This is a bold, expert-led programme which helps modern women earn real confidence through action, self-mastery, and powerful conversations so they can then become role models for other women.
This comprehensive online course is broken down into 5 modules each focused on providing valuable tools to help women earn practical, physical, personal, financial and sexual confidence.
You must do real world tasks at the end of each module and upload evidence of these tasks by answering simple questions. You cannot progress to the next module without showing that you have actually executed the learnings.
01. Personal Module
Laura is an accredited DiSC facilitator and is passionate about working with women to motivate, educate and inspire them to be the best version of themselves. In this module, using DiSC insights Laura teaches you how to better understand yourself, your individual personality, your strengths and how to use them to get what you want, how to have difficult conversations and how you can lead yourself and others based on your unique personality traits.
02. Practical Module
In this module Laura teaches you how to change a tyre, jump start a flat battery, use strops, crack a stock whip and the basics of how to shoot a shotgun safely. Once you tackle some of these practical tasks yourself, rather than just consuming the content, you will start to understand that just because you haven't, doesn't mean you cant, and this is where practical confidence starts.
02. Physical Module
Tiree is a physical transformation coach who works with women online and in-person to help them build physical confidence. Hannah is a nutritionist and naturopath passionate about holistic heath and wellness. In this module Tiree and Laura take you through the real basics of how to start strength training, its benefits, some simple workouts and discuss why strength training is a powerful way to transform the way you see yourself and the way you feel! Hannah and Laura then help you understand how your nutrition and hormones can impact the way you feel and share simple, effective knowledge about how to naturally be as well as you can be.
04. Financial Module
Hatch is a women-led investment platform that makes investing easy and accessible. In this module a Hatch CEO, Waimarie Marks, Investment Writer Amanda Broughton and Laura cover the basics of how to make your money work for you which includes basic budgeting, passive investing methods, demonstrating the power of compounding interest over time and provides some handy tools to help you do all the above and get started on your journey to becoming financially confident.
05. Sexual Module
Melissa is a certified holistic sex coach with many years of experience helping women embrace their sexuality, cultivate fulfilling relationships, and foster self-love and confidence. In this module Melissa and Laura share tools to help women become more confident and fulfilled in the bedroom, discuss how Mums can help their daughters set clear expectations and boundaries for themselves.
